FT Profiles Peter Tatchell

The gay human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, whose many campaigning concerns have included LGBT groups from the GLF to OutRage!, was profiled for World Human Rights Day in the Financial Times. It is not common for the FT features social change activists, but Tatchell was characteristically self-effacing. Instead of profiling himself, he drew readers' attention to the ongoing Occupy Movement at St Paul's Cathedral and called for what he described as "economic democracy" as an alternative to free market capitalism.
