Postponed Pride in Derby Scuppers Fundie Plans

Pride in Derby was postponed at the weekend due to severe weather conditions which left the recreation fields it was to take place on severely flooded. The organisers hope to rearrange the event. The postponement scuppers a planned anti-gay demonstration by Muslim fundamentalists. Only recently, several of the militants, who want to install religious law in the UK, were prosecuted under hate crime legislation.
