Anti-Monarchists Garner Support from Peter Tatchell

The anti-monarchy group Republic, which boasts support from several gay thinkers including the well-known Peter Tatchell, claimed success for its protest on Sunday 3rd June against the Jubilee celebrations. Speaking for the group Graham Smith said that the mainstream media had failed in its attempts to stop reports of the protest, and claimed that around one thousand two undred people had attended.
