Anti-Bullying Week

This week is Anti-Bullying Week, organised and co-ordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and backed by a wide range of groups tackling bullying in schools and in the workplace. To usher in the week, Coronation Street actor Charlie Condou wrote in The Guardian newspaper about the current situation for LGBT young people. The star of ITV-1’s long running soap opera said that in some ways things were much better today than in his youth, but with two-thirds of gay youth being bullied for their sexuality, more work needs to be done”.
