Three Guilty in Landmark Conviction for Spreading "Gays Must Die" Screed

LGBT and atheist activists have broadly welcomed the findings of a jury at Derby Crown Court, who decided that three Islamist males who distributed leaflets calling for the death penalty for gay people, had broken the Public Order Act and had stirred up hatred against non-heterosexuals. One of the three had made the odd claim that there would be a “tsunami” of homosexuality unless he acted. The leaflets had included cartoons of people being hanged. The three will be sentenced on Friday 10th February.
