"Bully" Quits Youth Radio Station

LGBT bloggers have been giving mixed reception to the news that the controversial DJ Christopher Moyles is to quit being the host of the prestigious breakfast programme on BBC Radio One, the largest youth broadcaster in the country. Moyles will be replaced by Nick Grimshaw in September. Moyles was criticised by the gay rights charity Stonewall for his comments about things he determined were "gay", and was voted "Bully of the Year" in 2006. In its day the Radio One breakfast show was the most popular radio show in the country, and boasted presenters such as Tony Blackburn and Noel Edmonds. However, the network has since been eclipsed by BBC Radio Two, which is the country's most popular single radio channel.
